Walk from Djurgårdsbron to Rosendal Palace through an island of royal memories, remarkable museum buildings and colourful little streets. Ten pictured stories reveal a golden gateway, the architecture around Vasa, an art hall, the public edges of Gröna Lund and Skansen, and the working shore of Beckholmen. The core walk stays outdoors with no paid admission needed. Allow a provisional 2–2½ hours for about 4 km, listening and looking; museum visits, meals and the return journey are extra.
